A very good friend and colleague of mine recommended I share this iLLustration/poster I did. I did this back in 2007--it caused a lot of complaints during the time of it's release. So I never posted it online, until now...

SUMMER NEAR END

I usually don't post much nudity but I have a shit ton in all my sketch books so be expecting more.I did the Malcolm X drawing sometime back in '06, was saving it for my next "art of" book that I'd like to do at some point.As most can tell by now the 2nd issue [children of the black circus] is not out, do to lack of proper equipment and funds(money).Intended to post a few pages from the book but an unfortunate event of my flash drive being stolen has postponed that.For those that don't know pages 2-6 of the first issue are available to read over here:

My computer has been fuckin' up a lot lately so this mite be my last post for quite some time.

Even tho I don't post very frequently, I feel the need to put that disclaimer on here.

Below is a commission piece i did last month, what follows after that are various drawings.The 2nd issue of my book is done but I don't own a fancy computer or photoshop this is the reason for the delay. Pushing for a summer release...hopefully.

COLORS

A friend of mine mailed me this koo postcard (above). It reminds me of a James Brown live performance I stumbled upon recently (below) the colors in both have  a vividness to them I really dig.

Below is an interview with producer Flying Lotus in which he breaks down his craft, bio, and more.

I found it refreshing to hear an artist be very open 'n honest without all the P.R.

2012

Awhile since my last post uh...I put some new paintings in the paintings/illustrations section, one of them is the painting below which was originally intended to be the cover for the second issue of children of the black circus but turned into something entirely different but I still mite use it for the cover.Below that is a panel from the second issue. I'm almost done with the book and plan on having it done/ready to sell/ship in late spring (2012). Below that are various drawings n' sketches some old some fairly new ...Happy New Year folks.
